Elrod Quarter Horses offers private schools and individual lessons in all categories:
- heading and heeling
- calf roping, team roping
- barrel racing
- reining cowhorses

All levels, from beginning to advanced, are taught.
Instructor Jess Elrod takes a personal interest in each student’s background and
experience and helps everyone reach their
goal of excellence.

The cost of lessons depends upon whether cattle are used.
Prices generally follow this format:
- $50/hour per student or $70/hour per person in a team setting
Training
prices:
- $700
barrel racing horse
- $725 for
any event in which cattle are used
(price includes feed)
- $750 for
stallions
Farrier and
veterinarian charges are extra.
