Mindy Elrod. In spite of the Elrods’ more than 30 world and reserve champion honors, they consider their greatest achievement to be their beautiful daughter,
Mindy, born in 1981.
Mindy has followed closely in her dad’s
bootsteps. In 1997, she was Texas State Champion in high school breakaway roping. She placed in the 1998 AQHA Youth World Top 10 Barrel Racing Finals. And in 1999, she took honors as the Texas State Reserve Breakaway Roper.
